Dedication of Merit 1

San gye ku sum nye pay jin lap dang

Through the blessing of the buddhas' attainment of the 3 bodies

Cho nyi min gyur den pay jin lap dang

Through the blessing of the unchanging truth of dharmatah

Gen dun mi che dun pay jin lap kyi

And through the blessing of the unwavering aspiration of the sangha

Ji tar ngo wa mon lam drup gyur chik

May this dedication prayer be accomplished.

Jam pal pa wo ji tar khyen pa dang

The courageous Manjushri, who knows everything as it is,

Kun tu zang po de yang de zhin te

Samantabhadra, who also knows in the same way,

De dak kun gyi je su dak lop ching

And all the bodhisattvas -- that I may follow in their path,

Ge wa di dak tham che rap tu ngo.

I completely dedicate all this virtue.

Sonam di yi t'ham che zik pa nyi

T'hop ne nye pay dra nam pam je ne

Kye ga na ch'hi ba lap t'hruk pa yi si pay ts'ho le dro wa drol war shok.

By this merit may all attain omniscience.  May it defeat the enemy, wrongdoing.

From the stormy waves of birth, old age, sickness and death;

From the ocean of samsara, may I free all beings!

Dedication of Merit 2

Ge-wa di-yi nyur-du-dag 

By this virtue may I quickly

La-ma Sang-gye drup-gyur-ney

Attain the state of Guru Buddha, and then

Dro-wa chig-kyang ma-lu-pa

Lead every being without exception 

Kye-kyi sa-la go-par-shog! 

To that very state! 

Jang-chub sem-chog Rin-po-che

May Precious and Supreme Bodhicitta 

Ma-kye pa-nam kye-gyur-chig

Which has not been generated now be so,

Kye-pa nyam-pa me-par-yang 

And may Precious Bodhicitta which has already been, 

Gong-ne gong-du pal-war-shog !

Never decline, but continuously increase!

Another, Kagyu, Dedication

May the seeds of the virtuous action sown in this work flourish
for all sentient beings.
May all beings find genuine masters and quickly attain enlightenment.
May all the great religions of the world flourish for the
benefit of beings according to their temperaments.

May this precious lineage of the Gyalwa Karmapa and the Kagyu siddhas
remain until all beings are freed from the ocean of birth, old age,
sickness, and death.

Through the blessings of the buddhas who attained the three kayas,
the blessing of the unchanging truth of the Dharma,
and the blessing of the limitless aspirations of the sangha,
may these wishes be fulfilled.

After Meditation

SO NAM DI YI TAM CHAY ZIK PA NYI 
Through this goodness, may omniscience be attained 

THOB NÉ NYÉ PAY DRA NAM PAM CHAY NAY 
And thereby may every enemy (mental defilement) be overcome. 

JAY GA NA JI BAR LAP DRUK PA YI 
May beings be liberated from the ocean of samsara, 

SI PAY TSO LÉ DRO WA DROL WAR SHOK 
Which is troubled by waves of birth, old age, sickness, and death.
